Performance

To have an idea on the tool speed, we will perform some operation over medium to big files.

We will take files with sizes of 32MB and 164MB, containing about 54 thousand records and 270 thousand records approximately, and we will see the time required by the tool to perform an operation that requires to read the full file. This can give us an idea of the processing speed in medium and big files.

Processing speed not only depends on the size of the files, but also on other factors like the processor speed where the program is running, memory access speed and also hard disk drive access speed where the file is located.
